I did a prank much like this, whenever I rode my bike by an existing camera, I would take pictures with my camera. Quite a few people fell for it, I think, because a lot of times people's brake lights would come on right after I took the picture (this was back when i lived in the Netherlands where they have these pesky speed camera's).
